Usually considered the pretty sister of the Twin Cities that almost was the capital of Minnesota. On Marquette Ave, The Foshay Minnesota’s' first skyscraper. "It has an observation deck."

On Nicollet Mall, there is a nice walk from South Washington Avenue to 13th Street South; there are places to eat, some shopping, and hotels.

Travelers: You can make MPLS a day hike by starting at the north side of the Stone Arch Bridge. I would choose these stops in this order. Guthrie Theater, Milwaukee Railroad Station/Dun Bros > Walk S Third Ave (3rd Ave) to S Fourth Street (4th St) past The City of Minneapolis Gov Building > go into the Hennepin County Courthouse (Building shaped like an H.) hopping into the skyways to Nicollet Mall "If you're lucky and come out the IDS at 8th St & Nicollet you'll find Minneapolis’s Original Street Food Push Cart Nibbles 11 am-2 pm ;). They should be able to point you to the Foshay or The Loring Greenway path so you can cut through Loring Park and make your way to the Walking Bridge, Sculpture Gardens, and Walker Art Center.

You will find Nightlife, Theaters, Concert Venues, & Places to eat around the North Loop “North Washington Ave”, The Warehouse “1st Ave” & Theater District “Hennepin Ave”

Minneapolis Stadiums: Target Field “Twins” , Target Center “Timberwolves & Linx”, and US Bank Stadium “Vikings”

Downtown Music Venues small to large: 7th Street Entry, Dakota, Fineline, 1st Ave, Skyway Theater,

This Neighborhood of Saint Paul, MN. is full of people that care about their Neighborhood. Lots of new/long time residents creating existing and consuming.

There are a few spots that can claim being at the center of it all two are the Saint Paul Farmers Market & Mears Park booth have events all summer long including the Twin Cities Jazz Fest and the Farmers Market every Saturday & Sunday morning the Sunrise to around Lunch time.
